Steven Barnett

Founder and current co-owner of The Inferno TPC since 2011.  


Steven has been training since 2005 and was awarded his black belt by his instructor UFC veteran Kurt Pellegrino and was overseen and signed off by grappling legend Marcelo Garcia. Steven has experience competing in both grappling and mixed martial arts but always felt like he had more passion in teaching. 


“I know the positive impact martial arts has had on my life and to have the ability to help share that with others is something I am forever grateful for!”


Steven has traveled and taught many places over the world such as Costa Rica, Vietnam, Portugal, and Peru. He encourages all of his students to pack a gi with them for any trip they take. Reminding them that martial arts is an international language and gives you the ability to connect with people all over the world! 

Steven currently owns and operates his other academy, Rincon Jiu Jitsu, in Rincon, Puerto Rico since 2019.

George Tampa

Current Co-owner of The Inferno TPC.

George has been training martial arts since 2011, and joined the Inferno in 2012 training Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu under Professor Steven Barnett. He received his jiu jitsu black belt in just 7 years, which showed his extreme dedication and understanding of the art. His passion in life is passing down knowledge and experiences thru martial arts in hopes to help change lives the way it did for him. He is currently a 1st Degree Black Belt in Jiu Jitsu.

Quinto "Macho" Soto

Head Instructor for our Muay Thai program and Leader of the Wolves of War fight team.

Rosario Davi

Rosario has been training Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu since 2016. He currently is the Head Instructor for our kids program and helps instruct in our adults jiu jitsu program. Rosario shares the same passion in teaching and passing down knowledge to others. He is currently a brown belt in jiu jitsu under Steven Barnett and George Tampa.

Brian Fardman

Brian has over 20 years of experience training in martial arts. He received his black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2023 from Steven Barnett. He also holds a black belt in Kyokushin Karate under Daniel “Tiger” Schulmann, which he received in 2014. Brian has experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, and Kyokushin Karate. He has competed in a variety of styles and rulesets since childhood. Brian is one of the instructors in our adult jiu jitsu program and his unique style adds a versatile dimension to our training sessions.
